María Caso Escudero – Councillor for the city of Madrid

Description: María Caso Escudero is the director of El Futuro es Ahora, a project developed in collaboration with different public and private institutions that represents an innovative experience of democratic and digital participation so that young people can participate in the construction of Spain’s future. Since January 2022, she has been a member of the Advisory Council of the High Commissioner for Spanish Entrepreneurship in the Spanish Government. Her previous positions include vice-president of Talent for the Future, director of the Jump Startup community and ambassador of the Community of Madrid for dialogue with young people. Likewise, María is a social entrepreneur and decided to found the non-profit NGO Inakuwa five years ago.
