Launched in Berlin on 7 May 2012, Il Mitte is the first online daily newspaper for Italians abroad, read by Italians living in Berlin as well as those who live elsewhere but want to be informed about what is happening in the German capital. Today, Il Mitte presents itself as an inclusive medium, attentive to social issues and the many cultures and subcultures that intertwine in the German landscape.

It aims to be a point of reference for Italians in Germany, but also a window on Berlin for all those who wish to visit it from Italy.

The “Canopoleno” National Boarding School is a public educational institution that contributes to the pursuit of the objectives of the national education and training system, through the flexible organization of educational activities and the unitary management of the annexed schools.

Founded in 1611, today the “Canopoleno” structure includes the Boarding School, the Primary School, the Secondary School of 1st and 2nd grade, divided into the Classical High School, the Four-Year Classical High School, the European Classical High School, the Scientific High School specialising in sports, the International Scientific High School with a Chinese language focus. The Association Deutsch-Italienische Vereinigung, founded in 1966, is dedicated to the promotion of Italian Language and Culture in an intercultural and international context. Language courses, readings, conferences, discussions and exhibitions in our art Gallery Frankfurter Westend Galerie constitute the basis for dialogue and interaction. The Association is also the home of the journal of Italian linguistics and literary studies “Italienisch”. The Frankfurt Foundation of German-Italian Studies was founded by the Association in 1992.
