The “Mission: Unlock Rights” Escape Box is an educational kit created by Solidaridad Sin Fronteras (SSF) to raise awareness about the human rights of people with disabilities. It uses escape-room-style activities combined with non-formal education to encourage participation, empathy, critical thinking, and inclusive action.
The kit is aimed at professionals, educators, youth aged 16+, and staff in social, educational, health, and community sectors.
It includes a facilitator guide, step-by-step instructions, six themed challenges about human rights and inclusion, legal references, and evaluation templates. The methodology relies on gamification and experiential learning with collaborative, real-world-inspired tasks.
The material is free to download (in Spanish) under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
